Originally established as S&A Sanitation Corp. by the founding family's first generation and a business partner, the company later relocated to Ronkonkoma, where it operated a Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Transfer Station for many years. Around 2003, the next generation of the family purchased the dumpster portion of the business, continuing its involvement in Long Island's waste management industry .

Originally established as S&A Sanitation Corp. in Bayport, New York, by Anthony Savino and a business partner, the company later relocated to Ronkonkoma, where it provided roll-off dumpster rentals and commercial waste collection services while also operating a Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste Transfer Station for many years.

Around 2003, the next generation of the family purchased the Ronkonkoma operations, continuing the family's involvement in Long Island's waste management industry.

Today, S&A Container Service operates from its corporate office in Blue Point, New York. The company remains family-owned and continues to build on more than six decades of history.
